Ex-Offenders Business Bootcamp – Forward Trust

A fantastic opportunity for ex-offenders to develop the skills and knowledge needed to start their own business through the Forward Trust’s Business Bootcamp.

This intensive training program is designed to help individuals turn their business ideas into reality, covering essential topics such as business planning, marketing, and financial management. Participants will also receive ongoing support and mentorship to help them succeed.

📍 Location: London
📅 Duration: 6 weeks (part-time)
💼 Support: Expert coaching and access to a network of business professionals

Eligibility: Open to individuals with a criminal record who are motivated to start their own business. Candidates must be work-ready and committed to completing the program.

Virgin Media – Project Management Apprentice

Virgin Media O2 is looking for ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to join our Regional Delivery Team as Project Management Apprentices. In this role, you'll help drive mobile network growth through infrastructure upgrades, ensuring seamless connectivity for customers across the UK. While no prior experience is necessary, we're looking for individuals with strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

You’ll be involved in managing projects from start to finish, working with teams to resolve challenges, understand legal requirements, and oversee supplier relationships. Full training is provided, and you’ll gain a nationally recognised Level 4 Project Management qualification upon completion.

📰 Contract: Full-time

📍 Location: London

💰 Salary: £30,000, rising to £33,000 after 12 months, with final salaries from £40,000 upon completion.

Halfords - Customer Sales Advisor

An exciting opportunity to join the Halfords team as a Customer Sales Advisor at our Brixton location. They’re looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for customer service and a proactive attitude to help customers find the perfect solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

HGV Driver Training Scheme - Veolia

A great opportunity to train as an HGV driver with Veolia, leading to permanent full-time roles after a successful probation period.

Full training is provided, and candidates with relevant experience in HGV driving or waste management are preferred. However, applicants with transferable skills will also be considered. Candidates must be work-ready and have an up-to-date CV.

📰 Contract: Full-time (following probation)

📍 Location: South and West London

🔴 Exclusions: Candidates with driving, sexual, terror, or arson-related offences will not be eligible. A disclosure process is involved, but the focus is on rehabilitation and progress.

Electrical Apprentice - Kier
A fantastic opportunity to join Kier as an Electrical Apprentice, working towards a Level 2 apprenticeship in Highway Electrical Systems. This is your chance to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in the construction and infrastructure industry.

Full training will be provided, and no prior experience in electrical systems is required. Ideal for candidates with a strong interest in electrical work and infrastructure. Self-motivation, punctuality, and organisation are key.

Fitness Instructor Training, Bello Fitness

Bello Fitness is a London-based organisation offering free, AEB-funded Level 2 and 3 fitness courses for job seekers (19+). Their 12-week program includes training, mentoring, business skills, work experience, and guaranteed gym interviews at the end of it.

Courses for Young People - The King’s Trust

The King’s Trust offers a wide range of courses designed to support individuals aged 16-30 in developing skills and gaining qualifications. From vocational training and employability workshops to confidence-building programs, there's something for everyone. Many courses are free and aimed at helping young people move towards employment, education, or self-employment.

Flowers Skills: Construction Training Programme

Flower skills are recruiting for a three week construction training programme that provides a City and Guilds level 1 qualification: Level 1 Basic construction which covers tiling, and brickwork. Level 1 Health and Safety, and CSCS test. The courses are for those 19+ unemployed, and in receipt of JSA, Employment Support Allowance or Universal Credit.

📍 Location: Charlton Training Centre, London

📅 Placement Dates: Every three weeks.

3 Week CSCS Course, The Skills Centre

This free 3-week pre-employability programme arms candidates with level 1 certifications covering the health and safety, construction and the sustainability knowledge needed to get started on a career path within the industry. This programme is in place for people looking to get started with a career in construction.

Free Community Gym Sessions 

Sports-based mentoring programme for men who have been recently released from prison or are vulnerable to engaging in crime.

FourCorner Chess Club

Fourcorner is a free open to all chess club with a great atmosphere and friendly vibe. Situated in St Johns square Fourcorner welcomes any one who wishes to play chess and to meet new people. This is for players of all levels from beginner to Grandmaster.

StandOut Support

  • We have grants and financial support available; covering household items, emergency accommodation, travel, ID, food and more. We also have progression grants to support you with starting a course or purchasing equipment such as PPE to start work.

  • Clothing (including coats) and toiletries are also available to collect from our offices in Vauxhall.
